Austrian Food

Dear Daniel,

thanks for your E-Mail, let me give you some information about food and table manners in Austria.

When you come to Austria there are a few informations you should know, but it is nothing very difficult or unusual.
So first thing you need to know is that we eat with fork, knife and spoon. When you eat meat or something else that is not like a soup you have the knife in the right hand and the fork in the left.

It is also not allowed to make any noises while you are eating. It is not very fine for the others.

Also, it would be very patient if you eat all food on the plate and ask for more if you want.

You can eat chicken or chips with your hands, but you don't have to.

These are the most important facts  about austrian table manners.
As you might know the most popular food in Austria is the Schnitzel, but desserts like the Apfelstrudel are also really good and you schould try them.

In Austria there are also a few italian or chinese restaurants which have really good food and it is getting popular to eat food from different countries in the world.

If you have any other questions about austrian food you can ask me.

See you soon

Yours Kevin!

  2. mind the following, Kevin: information is not used with a plural-s, there are a couple of things you should know / a fork in the right AND in the left hand ??? / ALSO in a negative sentence is EITHER, it's not allowed EITHER, rewrite the phrases not very fine and " it would be very patient" (geduldig?) they don't make sense !!/ word order chicken sentence: don't start with object !! always put the subject first : YOU can eat ...../ THESE are the most important facts about austrian table manners / but desserts are also very good and you should try THEM.
